Carnival of the Animals

Singing It
The elementary school at Beijing City International School (BCIS) had a show on Friday called the Carnival of the Animals. Each grade dressed in costume as different animals and preformed a song or a dance.  The costumes were very elaborate and I am sure were all hand sewn somewhere here in Beijing.  There was everything from turtles, to elephants, to donkeys, to dragons and lions.  Miles was both a lion and a dragon.

You can view the full set on flickr.  But here are a few more of my favorites :

A Lions Stare

The Conversant Chickens

Three Elephants

Wonderful photos and SO great that the school supports the arts and getting the kids involved in such wonderful productions! You’ve obviously chosen JUST the right school for Miles and Sofi! 🙂 So cool!

I second what you said Teresa. Schools usually do not support the arts or have the money to support the arts, usually the latter. Which is sad.
